So it is a really late friday night again and we're up late (in fact someone told us today is Sunday, crafty bastard sun does not find us here in the basement.

So if you care to listen to a newer version of our pun intended named song here it is.

"All" that is left is for Rusty II to have a go at it, then we decide if it is a keeper.

This is the first version of one of the songs that might be on the next CD. It's missing a lot of stuff, but we thought it would be fun for you to follow the evolution of the songs as they mature.

Next up there will be a wobbly bass, additional effects and perhaps some singing, if one can add lyrics to such a beautiful pun.

yes, all you fans. The first embryo for a new song will soon be posted. The beat is there and a steady rhythm to follow it. Needs a bit of melody and a good solid 24h rest before it goes up on the internets. But we can do tell you that the name is very funny and combines a famous loop name and a gag stolen from the Simpsons combined into something new and fabulous.

Sunday night firefight!

It is no secret that we pay our friends to manage midsummer parties here in Sweden so we can force us upon them with our music.
What karma has in store for us though is much much worse. Our first midsummer gig two years ago was a succes, all the 3 songs we managed to play before the PA system burned up. As it did indeed burn four, we repeat FOUR 12" base elements. We hooked up two computer speaker's that day and continued our gig at a ridiculously low volume. Or one more song that was. Damn it was hard error-checking in the middle of the night wearing masks. It was not until later we found out that the bass-elements had burned beyond repair of that brand new PA.

anyways.

Fast forward two years, that is, very close to now, last week actually. We had a new gig at the same place, with about the same people, very nice. This time there was a new PA brought by a friend that wasn't at the first party. However this equipment (brand new) was worth a lot more then that of two years ago. About 60 000 Sek. Guess what happens at the gig?
1: the guitar starts acting up,
2: it was a cable to the effect pedal
3: the song cant be heard (thank Beelzebub for the backing track)
4: A neighbor comes over complaining about his lights flickering and his young kid needing to sleep, fair enough 6month old's do need their sleep (and their parents as well)
5: All the sounds start's to sound weird.
6: No high left in the speakers, only bass
7: We end almost as far in as we got that midsummer two years earlier.

Oh well, how about this PA then? only fuses, luckily.

Anyways 2, we're hard at work with material for a new CD, and we're gonna go and post stuff here as work in progress for you to judge and wrinkle your noses at.

This is all we are going to write this Friday night at 7 minutes past 11 in the evening. Now it's time to move away from the computer and decide what party to crash.
