So we've been busy with the new version of Ableton Live, version 8. It is nice, and the improvements to the midi-editor makes it so much easier to create intricate drum-patterns. The new distortion sounds sweet. There is a vocoder 2, but that doesn't really suit our sound. In fact, we hate almost any music using vocoders.
Musikmesse then? we failed to go there this year to. one of our travel-companions got caught by the police and there simply was no money after the fines where payed. But there where a few things that caught our eyes. Doepfers 400eur synth looks sweet, as does that new akai microkorg ripoff. But why oh why do they publish spec's images and make a lot of marketing WITHOUT PUBLISHING ANY SOUND CLIPS, sorry for the yelling, but it's fucking disturbing.
Do we even have to say Teenage Engineering? this is a company we would accept endorsement from at any time.
We're also thinking about the increasing problem of getting gig's and what Computer Music will write about Erectifier on CM 138 where it will be featured on the cover disk!
